What information Korea Tools collects, how it is used and the choices you have.
Korea Tools does not ask you to create an account. The amounts and scores you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
Like almost every website, the servers that deliver these pages keep standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider and our content delivery network, Cloudflare, use these logs for security, to stop abuse and to fix problems. We do not use them to identify visitors.
On the festival page, photos are loaded directly from the Korea Tourism Organization's server (tong.visitkorea.or.kr). As with any web request, that server receives your IP address and browser type. It sets no cookies.
On the home page, the site reads your browser's language setting to suggest a matching language version. This happens on your device, and the setting is not stored or sent anywhere.
If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and to follow up on the issue you reported. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them. It collects information such as the pages you view, the approximate region you visit from, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not send your calculator inputs to Google Analytics.
Where it is allowed to store cookies, Google Analytics keeps two first-party cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by the measurement ID) to tell visits apart. They expire after at most two years.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics does not store cookies: it sends only limited measurements without cookies, and no consent message is shown. Elsewhere, you can block it with your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
